Counselor's Corner

Please fill out this form if you would like your child/student to see the school counselor (Mrs. Alvis) for INDIVIDUAL or GROUP counseling or need assistance with an outside referral. Once the counselor receives the submission, she will reach out to discuss your child's/student's specific needs.

Although school counselors have extensive knowledge in child development, please remember that we are not mental health therapists. We are legally and ethically limited in the type of support we can provide at school. If your child/student needs comprehensive or long term counseling (more than 8 sessions), I will be happy to assist you in finding outside resources or we can discuss other options.

The Clark County School District (District) has agreements with various local medical providers offering basic health services to students. These include, but are not limited to, sports physicals, vision screenings, oral screenings, dental sealants, and immunizations. 

Every agreement ensures that all services provided to students are at no cost to the District or a school site, and are at no cost to the families of students enrolled in the District.
