Academic Integrity Policy

Parents can refer to the school’s academic integrity policy for information on our expectations for the submission of authentic work and academic misconduct. This policy can be viewed on the school’s website under the IB World School heading then the IB Policies tab.

Weekly Communication to Families

 Hello Tarr Academy parents/guardians,

Please take time today to review the grades for your child through Infinite Campus’ Parent Portal (https://campus.ccsd.net/campus/portal/clark.jsp). If your child has any missing/late work, we encourage you to reach out to your child’s teacher and request that this work is given to your child to complete. Your child has 5 school days to complete any work marked with an M for missing from the date the grade is posted in Infinite Campus to earn full credit for the assignment. After that, the M can no longer be reversed. This means your child will not be able to complete the missing work and will receive a 50% in the grade book for the assignment.

Any summative assessment that your child received a 69% or less, the teacher will be providing targeted instruction on the standard(s) being assessed to your child. Reteaching will occur within 10 school days of the summative assessment grade being posted on Infinite Campus. After reteaching is provided on the standard(s), your child will be given one new summative assessment to show their understanding. The highest score earned will be updated in the grade book.
